Zhang Xinmeng graduated from Shandong Medical University and pursued advanced studies at multiple institutions in South Korea, the United States, and elsewhere. She later became a disciple of Mr. Han Xiao, a world-renowned artist, and successfully integrated Eastern and Western aesthetic concepts with plastic and aesthetic medicine techniques, developing an artistically distinctive system of concepts and methods for aesthetic plastic surgery. She holds a prominent position in the international plastic surgery community. She has served as a foreign expert and scholar at Kim Se-hyun Plastic Surgery Clinic and Kim Young-kwon Plastic Surgery Clinic in South Korea; as a senior medical advisor for BOTOX (USA) and RESTYLANE (Sweden); as a keynote speaker at numerous international medical conferences in South Korea and the United States; and as a professional fashion consultant for Harper's Bazaar and Trends.

She has focused on autologous fat grafting and aesthetic minimally invasive procedures for more than 20 years. She was among the first in China to introduce “chyle fat” comprehensive facial rejuvenation technology and VASER liposculpture technology, greatly improving the survival rate of fat grafts. In surgery, she excels through the meticulousness of a female physician and has overcome three major challenges in fat grafting: harvested fat particles being too large, excessive fibrous tissue, and uneven injection. After observing her surgeries, a master of Chinese Shu embroidery praised her technique as extraordinarily skillful and her mind as intelligent and inspired, remarking that if she were to study Shu embroidery, she would surely become a master of her generation.

She has inherited and advanced the “Cotton Candy” breast augmentation technique. In 2016, in collaboration with Mr. Han Xiao, the inventor of the technique, she organically combined the “Cotton Candy” breast augmentation technique—featuring “drinking tea, singing songs, and undergoing breast augmentation”—with autologous fat grafting, increasing breast tissue thickness and the naturalness of feel. The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and patients can engage in Q&A interactions with online viewers, drawing massive online viewership on live-streaming platforms such as Inke and Panda TV.
